Please click on the link above to view some suggested activities for your children during the school closure. The work is OPTIONAL. It will not be graded and your child is not expected to complete it. It is a suggestion that they keep practicing during these days to ensure retention of skills. Thank you for all your support.   • L.A. - Complete Scholastic News Quiz, DLI #26, Spelling #26, Benchmark Advance Unit 6, Lesson 3 Chart (inference)
  • Math- Lesson 7.6 and 7.7, comparing fractions with different denominators and fractions on a line plot
  • Science - Lesson 1, read and learn about earthquakes

Due:

  • DLI #25 - Adverbs (also go to Brain Pop and view the video on adverbs)https://jr.brainpop.com/readingandwriting/word/adjectivesandadverbs/
  • Spelling Week #25 - go to classroom to view the words if you don't have a Spelling City account
  • Benchmark Advance- Unit 6, Lesson 2: Confronting Challenges. Read the first story "Rabbit & Coyote" and complete the chart for Lesson 2. 
  • Science - McGraw: Complete the assigned pages. Also look at Mosa Mack "Tectonic Plates" unit.

  • Complete DLI #24 
  • Practice Spelling Words with Spelling City (I will give you an account if you don't have one)
  • Go to your portal and click on Benchmark Advance, there is an assignment there for you.
  • Go to your think central and view your assignment there for math
  • Go to google classroom for your Scholastic News article assignments (use Kami to complete)

  • Science - Go to McGraw Hill Education on your portal and complete the assignments from the science e-book.

  • Language Arts - finish "Young Author's Day Story" in google classroom and DLI #23. 
  • Math - complete pages 247-260 from Activity Book, and pages 149-156 from Homework Book. If the student needs the book, you may come pick it up after school
  • Social Studies - finish the diary pages from the Oregon Trail simulation booklet. Write about the journey from Missouri to Oregon on the last diary entry. Also, read chapter 6 from the social studies book. Click the link to view the book and go to google classroom to do the quiz.
